Ask “Will You Be My Girlfriend?” With a Link

A cute way to ask, even when you can't do it in person. She opens your link, a gift reveals your photo and your words, and then the question: Will you be my girlfriend? Yes or No. The No button runs away twice before it counts, and her answer shows up on your private link.

The question comes after your card, so she reads your words first. The Yes or No is hers to tap, and it comes back to you.

Try the demo: press and hold to open the hug. In your gift, the question appears under the card.

What are you asking?

Will you be my girlfriend?

A hug they hold to open, then the question.

Will you be my boyfriend?

A match struck in the dark, then your words.

Will you be my Valentine?

How it works

  1. 1

Open the maker with the question already filled in, or write your own.

  2. 2

Write your message, add a photo of the two of you, record a voice message if you like.

  3. 3

Send the link. When she taps Yes, you see it on your manage link.

Make it feel like you, not a meme

The joke of the runaway No button works best when the rest is sincere. Say one specific thing: the moment you knew, what you like about talking to her, what you'd like to do together next. Two or three sentences are enough.

A photo of the two of you and a short voice message make it personal. If you have a song, add the link; it appears as a button under your card.

What happens after she answers

Her first answer is saved and shown on your manage link, the one you get right after you create the gift. If she taps Yes, the page celebrates with her. If it's a no, she can say so, and you'll see that too.

You send the link yourself, by text, WhatsApp, Instagram or any chat. If you'd rather it waited until a certain moment, seal it until a date and time under Other options.

Questions

How do I ask someone to be my girlfriend online?

Make a gift here with the question “Will you be my girlfriend?” already filled in, write a few honest lines about why you are asking, and send her the link. She opens the gift, reads your card, then answers Yes or No right on the page.

Does the No button really run away?

Twice, as a joke: it slides away and asks “Are you sure?”. The third tap counts as a real no, because the answer should be hers. You see whichever answer she gives.

How do I see her answer?

On the private manage link you get when you create the gift. It shows “They said YES”, a no, or “No answer yet”. Only the first answer counts.

Can I ask something else, like will you be my boyfriend or my Valentine?

Yes. Pick “Will you be my boyfriend?”, “Will you be my Valentine?”, “Will you go to prom with me?” or type any yes/no question up to 100 characters.

Can I add a photo, a voice message or our song?

Yes. Add one photo, record a voice message of up to 60 seconds, and paste a link to your song. Photos and voice messages are kept for 30 days; the words and the link stay until you delete the gift.

Is it free and private?

Free to make and open, with no signup or app for either of you. Only people with the link can open it, and you can delete it any time from your manage link.
